If I Can’t Turn On The Radio

We’ve now finished recording 5 songs towards our new album.  We’re hoping to release the album later this year and are pretty excited about that.

In the meantime this is The Corrections.  Make sure you find us on Facebook, Twitter, etc for more news.

“The lights are off, the kids are on your back…”

We’ve been busy. I promise.
We’ve almost finished recording three new songs; ‘The Corrections’, ‘Supergods’ and one we haven’t given a name to yet. We’ll get there with that. It’s got a working title at the moment, which shouldn’t be said again.
When they’re finished we’ll have 5 songs fully recorded and ready to go. That’s half an album. So, we’re privately moving quite fast. Fast for us anyway.

So now we’re going to plan some gigs for over the next few months. Think that’s what bands do? Hone their sound? We’ll give it a try.

If you’d like us to play in your town or city let us know. We’ll try our best.

Also, if anyone has any good ideas for a name for that song we’re open to suggestions….

Today, while most of Glasgow was basking in the glorious sunshine, we made our way to the wonderful town of gourock to rehearse. Tiziano and I took the train, Ryan drove, and Chris was a passenger to his hangover. We rehearse in a stained glass studio which has a back room where we keep our equipment set up. We are a bit of a ramshackle bunch so we had to build a microphone stand out of a stool, an amp, a guitar stand, a block of wood and a roll of gaffa tape. Our former tour manager, Stevie, would have had one in his utility belt had he been there.

We rehearsed 4 songs – Butterflies, The Architect, Supergods and This Afternoon I Died. In fact, death seems to appear in all of our songs. Not in a bad way though. We are generally pretty positive guys.

After rehearsal we went for a pint of West beer and discussed our ‘plan’. We always have a plan. This time we’re really going to do things quicker and as they come to us. I mean, it’s good to take your time, but I think we’ve sort of had enough of taking our time. The Beatles didn’t take their time. They just did it, so we’re going to do that too.

Tiziano and I got the train back to Glasgow and I fell asleep for a few minutes at the end of the journey. Sorry Titz!
